Ciao Roma Open Bus Tours Rome

[wptabs][wptabtitle] Description[/wptabtitle] [wptabcontent]

Ciao Roma Open Bus Tours Rome run every day of the year. You’re allowed to hop-on and hop-off for the whole validity of the ticket. Not only will you have live commentary in the Language which you’ve selected when driving by Romans monuments but a multi-language speaking hostess will always be on board with you just in case you have some questions.

This bus line, because of the weekend traffic rules, takes another route on the weekend which we will list on this page. Instead of stopping near the Trevi fountain, it‘ll make it’s stop near Via Veneto and the Villa Borghese park which isn’t that bad considering that the Trevi fountain is in the center of Rome and walkable when visiting other sites.

A good deal would be to take advantage of the offer Ciao Roma Tour & Galleria Borghese (inside the Villa Borghese Park). Normally, to visit this famous Art Gallery you have to sign up for in advance, so the deal to combine both isn’t bad!

You’ll save around 1.50-2.00 Euro/person and entrance to the Gallery is guaranteed at the following times: 9.00AM – 11.00AM – 1.00PM – 3.00PM – 5.00PM. You have to show up 30 minutes before you enter at the ticket office. Remember that the Art Gallery is closed on Mondays. This offer is only valid for Ciao Roma bus tour clients and tickets can only be purchased on the bus!

Another great deal is the Ciao Roma Hop-on hop-off Tour combined with the tickets to the Colosseum, Foro Romano and Platino, without standing on-line! Like above: this offer is only valid for Ciao Roma bus tour clients and tickets can only be purchased on the bus! The Colosseum ticket would then cost 13.00 Euro for adults and 8.50 Euro for UE citizens from 18-24 years old. Once you have the Voucher for the Colosseum tickets, you still have to go to the Colosseum ticket office and exchange the Voucher for your tickets!

Time tables: The frequencies of the buses are stated every 30 minutes but of course reality is different. The buses run every day starting from 8.45AM from Via Veneto at the Via Ludovisi / Via Cadore corner to 7.00PM from Monday – Sunday. Please remember that some attractions/museums are closed on Mondays in Rome.

How much do the tickets cost for the Ciao Roma Bus Tour?

A new special offer just came out from Ciao Roma Open tour; Adults pay 18.00 Euro instead of 21.00 Euro and kids from 6 to 12 years old pay 11.00 Euro instead of 12.00 Euro for the 24 hour Panoramic tour. Kids which are 5 and under go for free!

In the afternoon after 1.15PM the same 24 hour tour costs 16.00 Euro for adults and 10.00 Euro for kids. Kids which are 5 and under go for free!

The 48 hour Panoramic Tour costs 28.00 Euro for adults and 16.00 Euro for kids from 6 to 12 years old. Kids which are 5 and under go for free!

The 72 hour Panoramic Tour costs 35.00 Euro for adults and 23.00 Euro for kids from 6 to 12 years old. Kids which are 5 and under go for free!

A tour called One Run Only is also offered. Instead of hopping on and off, this tour takes you through the city with an audio guide and you’ll get off when the tour is done! Adults pay 13.00 Euro and kids from 6-12 years pay 8.00 Euro. Kids which are 5 and under go for free!

After 3.00PM they have the Special One Run Only Tour with no hopping on and off but a full tour like above. The price is 10.00 Euro for adults and 6.00 for kids from 6-12 years old. Kids which are 5 and under go for free!

Where to buy the tickets: do not waste your time letting on of the sales people walk you in their office to buy the tickets, there is no need for that! Tickets can be purchased directly on board or on the internet. With this company I’d recommend to purchase them on the bus however!

The ticket is valid starting from the time of purchase and not calendar days!
