Da Armando al Pantheon a family owned restaurant since 1961 is just off the main square located 30 meters from the Pantheon.

When you walk through the door you will receive a very warm welcome and the delicious aroma coming from the kitchen. It’s a cozy, charming one room with wood paneling and many pictures and paintings on the walls.

The food is excellent, tasty and freshly cooked. Da Armando al Pantheon menu offers local authentic dishes and daily specials. They also have wine from their own vineyard. The light Tiramisu served with mixed berries is delicious.

Service is relaxed and very welcoming. The staff is attentive and speaks very good English.

An excellent way to spend the evening after exploring Roma.

La Sagrestia – Via del Seminario, 89 – 00100 Rome – Italy

La Sagrestia is an excellent little restaurant located just steps from the Pantheon.

It is on a little street called Via del Seminario that is on the right when having your back to the Pantheon.

La Sagrestia has been there since 1946 and is owned by Oreste and Claudio.

The decor is an eclectic mix of religion and modern art.

The menu at La Sagrestia offers wood-fire oven pizzas, antipasto, perfectly cooked pasta and excellent quality beef and fish entrees. They have a great wine list and for dessert, do not fail to try one of the cakes they on the menu.

The staff is more than helpful and the service was fast. Priced accordingly.

Da Fortunato al Pantheon opened in 1975, it is located in front of the Pantheon.

They offer top quality, excellent classic Roman dishes and some interesting and more unusual daily specials.

The service from the professional uniformed waiters is very attentive and the pace of the meal is relaxed and very comfortable.

They also have outdoor seating that offers of beautiful view at the Pantheon.

The atmosphere is very good and everyone is very friendly. The attire is casual, yet can be fancy.

The chefs send out quality dishes, a feast for the eyes and for the palate.

Prices are reasonable for such a famous place.
Waiters are helpful and speak English.

Giolitti – Via Uffici del Vicario, 40 – 00152 Rome – Italy

Giolitti has delicious gelato in a traditional old style shop that is just around the corner from Pantheon. They have more shops around the city but this is the original one.

Everything is freshly made with natural ingredients. They have a huge variety of flavors, starting with your basic flavors to many different choices like amaretto, banana, hazelnut, strawberry, nutella, champagne soberto and baileys whiskey cream.

The lovely staff is very friendly and they speak English. The girl at the counter is very nice and explained all the different price options. Although it is crowded, the service is fast.

There are also plenty of great cakes and pastries.

A guaranteed child-pleaser and adults too.

Giolitti have few tables outside.
Reasonably priced, very generous with the quantities.
Giolitti is open every single day of the year from 7:00 am until 1:30 am.

**Helpful hint: you need to buy your gelato at the cashier then take your ticket to the line at the gelato counter where they will ask you for your choice.

La Rosetta – Via della Rosetta, 8 – 00156 Rome – Italy

Right in the heart of Rome’s historical center, La Rosetta is located just a few steps from the Pantheon. La Rosetta opened in 1966, and is one of the top seafood restaurants in Rome.

The quality of the food is excellent with seafood being the speciality. Lobster, langoustine, sea bass and pasta fill the menu.

Interior decor is simple. The service is outstanding from welcome through wine service, the meal and finally the desert. The staff was gracious, helpful, and friendly. The wine list was extensive and quite reasonably priced

Everything at La Rosetta is fresh, tasty and a pleasure for the palate.

Excellent value for money.
They do have limited seating outside.
